First Sustainability Linked Bond Issuance in Indonesia
PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia ("ISSP"), received Pre-Effective or publication permission from OJK on June 14, 2024 for the planned issuance of Sustainability-Linked Bond I Spindo th 2024 (SLB I Spindo). SLB I Spindo is the first Sustainability-Linked Bond issued in Indonesia, after several other issuers have previously issued Green Bonds and Sustainable Bonds and Sukuk.
The issuance of this sustainability-based debt instrument is in the form of sustainability-related bonds with a maximum value of 1 Trillion Rupiah, and will be fully guaranteed (unconditional and irrevocable and unconditional) by the Credit Guarantee & Investment Facility ("CGIF") so that SLB I Spindo is rated AAA (Triple A) by Pefindo.
